Quran Leaders Academy operates a structured admissions system aligned with the standard academic term structure in England, with three admission cycles per academic year:
- Autumn Term Intake (September)
- Spring Term Intake (January)
- Summer Term Intake (April)
We open admissions formally at the beginning of each term cycle to ensure proper onboarding, safeguarding, and academic integration.
Application Timelines
To maintain fairness, structure, and academic readiness:
Applications must be submitted no later than one week before the end of the preceding term
For example, applications for the September (Autumn) intake must be completed by the end of the July term period
Applications submitted after this deadline will automatically be considered for the next available intake, subject to availability
Mid-Year Applications
While applications may be received at any point during the year, mid-term admissions are strongly limited due to:
- Full academic cohorts are already in progress
- Structured Qur’anic and academic progression
- Safeguarding and settling requirements
- High demand and existing waiting lists
As a result, mid-year entry is considered exceptional, highly restricted, and not guaranteed.
Waiting List Policy
Where demand exceeds capacity, suitable candidates may be placed on a waiting list for the next intake cycle. Priority is given based on:
- Educational suitability
- Commitment and readiness
- Safeguarding considerations
Date of completed application
In keeping with the ethos of leading British independent schools, admissions are conducted with:
- Fairness and transparency
- Academic and pastoral integrity
- Respect for structured progression
- Commitment to maintaining cohort stability and excellence
Admission is therefore not continuous, but deliberate, selective, and term-based.
